HYMARK BALL BEARING CARRIER ASSEMBLY

Bearing Carrier

The Hymark Performance Ball bearing carrier for the Polaris driven clutch is very unique in design. This carrier assembly slides over the shaft of the stationary sheave and into the movable sheave taking the place of the original helix. This Hymark Performance ball bearing carrier is machined out of aircraft quality aluminum. And is hard anodized to increase life and reduce friction.  This bearing carrier uses special sealed ball bearings that are designed to handle the high torque loading created by large displacement engines. The bearings fit in special designed bearing pockets. Dowel pins hold the three bearings firmly in position and are supported on both sides. This makes bearing replacement simple if the need ever occurs. With the Hymark Performance ball bearing system installed in the Polaris driven clutch, performance is greatly enhanced. The snowmobile will accelerate quicker and back shift much quicker. Belt life will increase due to significantly reduced clutch temperatures. The much improved clutch efficiency means more horsepower can be delivered to the track at all speeds. Hymark Performance is not only the leader in bearing clutch technology but the only company to build a system that simply drops into the stock Polaris driven clutch with no machining necessary. HARDENED STEEL RADIUSED HELIX

The Hymark Performance helix is a hardened steel single point contact radius helix. This insures center contact of the roller bearing surface throughout a variety of helix angles. Hymark Performance has developed a series of helix angle profiles with our patented radiused contact surface. This helix is very unique in design and is machined to fit into the bottom of the moveable sheave and over and around the moveable sheave button towers. The helix is held into position by using three "O"-ring segments that fit into the "O"-ring grooves that are machined in the helix. Even though the radiused helix is made of high quality steel that is heat treated to near bearing hardness, the special design adds only ounces to the driven clutch. Each of Hymark's Performance helix is designed to last a lifetime.

HYMARK DRIVEN CLUTCH SPRINGS

CLUTCH SPRINGS

Hymark Performance has developed several new springs for our ball bearing clutch systems. We have also developed spring torque charts and spring compression charts in order for one to more fully understand which spring or springs would be desired. We would recommend as a starting point for all of the Polaris application, the use of our 88-HY192Y, or our 88-HY188P spring, with the use of the helix recommended for the elevation that one operates the snowmobile in.

POLARIS 700 COOL HEAD

Hymark Performance has developed a billet aluminum Cool Head system for the new Polaris 700 twin cylinder engines. These billet Cool Head sets are unique in the design and function. The design of these heads are to enable the installer to rotate the replaceable domes (before tightening head bolts ) to any desired position in order to index the spark plug gap opening. The replaceable domes are finned which provides over twice the surface area for cooling. In the domes of the combustion chamber we also have an outer perimeter radius that helps eliminate detonation. The outer perimeter radius helps accelerate combustion end gases away from the outer perimeter of the piston where most detonation occurs. The perimeter radius works so well we hold the patent on this machining process.

Individuals and dealers will appreciate the fact that the Cool Head cover will fit the 700 Polaris engine with only changing the domes, The Cool Head cover also adds rigidity to the engine cylinders. The Head covers are bright dipped and black anodized to give it a sanitary and attractive appearance.

We have saved the best for last, at 7500 RPM on a ported and piped 700 engine with the Hymark Performance Cool Head system installed we gained 10 lbs. of torque and 14.2 H.P. over the same engine using the stock Polaris head. This test was done with premium pump fuel. The stock head volume is 39.2cc.

580 AND 600 HEAD SETS

To get more bang for the buck, choose the best quality of billet aluminum heads on the market. These head sets offer increased horsepower and reduced detonation for the XLT 580, XLT and XCR 600 engines.

These billet head sets have cooling fins machined in the top of the head, which offer more than twice the cooling surface. Also developed is a much improved "O"-ring seal arrangement, there is no longer a need to silicone the top "O"-rings. The bottom "O"-rings are made of a high temperature Viton material for an excellent high pressure, high temperature seal. The bottom and top "O" rings are also reusable.

There is no need to machine the head cover plate in order to make it fit. This is a true bolt-on performance head set. A must for modified or turbocharged engines, especially when burning oxygenated fuels.
