The TEMPA FLOW automatically tunes multiple carburetors for changes in ambient temperature, rnaintaining a more constant air / fuel mixture from 1/8 to wide open throttle. For the snowmobile market, the regulator begins leaning out the mixture at -20 degrees F (-29 degrees C). Using this regulator, a typical stock snowmobile run at +40 degrees F (+4 degrees C) ambient temperature will deliver 6% more horsepower while using 8% less fuel. Other "turn on" temperatures are available allowing Its use on any carbureted engine. A manual adjustment provides for altitude compensation.
